“List Building” (2nd Daily Commitment) 1 Active & 1 Passive Strategy – Important

If you do not have much to invest in paid marketing then do what you can. Even if it is just $50 a month then set aside $50 a month. I call this the latte factor. The point is to do something and do it consistently.
When you have more of a marketing budget it is good practice to invest at least 20% into paid marketing … This section is actually something VERY important!  Companies pay Millions Of Dollars on building their email list because that is the life blood of their business growth… So sometimes people get into the home based business industry and never spend time list building! The #1 income producing activity in our business is getting people to watch “ your companies” video!  Really that is what pays you!  A certain percent will always join you based on how many view that video! The best way to do that is to generate leads that redirect to that video! With that said.  Below is a guideline for some list building methods that  are recommended I suggest you find your passion. Pick 1 main method in each category (Active & Passive) and RUN with it… ….

Passive: (people searching & finding you)

Focus on 1 and MASTER it!

Active: (you going out there and finding people)

Focus on Doing things on this list EVERY DAY till you are at 10k a month!  At that point you can move on to 100% passive methods above…

  • Emailing Your Current List (aweber, get response, gvo etc.)
  • Your Circle Of Influence (past business partners, people you know)
  • Facebook Chatting
  • Other Social Media Chatting (LinkedIn, Skype or Google + Chatting)
  • Answering your emails from prospects
  • Live Hangouts or webinars for your list or following (even if only a few people show up)
  • Offline Meetings

Some people ask me… How many people should we actively get to watch the video each day? Here is a good guideline: Part Timers = 2-5 per day Full Timers = 15-20 per day (I recommend getting 20 people seeing the video daily. This can be done by doing either active or passive marketing.)

Create Value Content” (3rd Daily Commitment)

The purpose for this is to convert your leads you generated above!  It could also attract more leads to you through search results or social media but for the purpose of this assignment it’s 100% to convert your current leads or social media following to sales! ….

> Part 1 – Post Value Content:

Come Up With A Concept!     Then Create a Video Blog or a Written Blog based on that concept!  No Excuses! Good format for your blog is:

  • Value Content (video, image or written)
  • Call To Action (to your business)
  • Signature (image of you, contact info & a PS promoting your business, tool or resource)…


> Part 2 – Get Eyeballs On Your Content:

Here is my bullet proof list of places I send my blog! Be sure you setup a  before you start posting to social media.  

  1. Email Your Lists (Aweber, Getresponse, GVO or what ever autoresponder you have)
  2. Email Your Team (create a group with your team and all comment on each other stuff if you want)
  3. LinkedIn
  4. Google Plus
  5. Tweet It
  6. Facebook (with uploaded image to FB) Have a Fan Page?  If you have a Fan Page… Post to that first then share the Post on your Facebook Profile…
  7. Facebook Groups (Post in 5-10 groups)
  8. Forums  (5-10 comments in high traffic threads with your signature to your new blog post for the day)


> Part 3 – Build Up Your Social Following (to maximize Part 2 above)

The 4 main ones to build up would be: Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook and Google +… I suggest post Content in different Facebook groups Daily (spend about 15 minutes a day on this) The purpose of this is to get as many friends, followers and fans to your facebook so when you post your blog to your own wall they SEE it!  I suggest posting things like

  • Facebook Videos
  • Images with Quotes On them
  • Just written quotes
  • Images with Actual written content! It can have a capture page link or blog link if written long enough…
  • Value Blog Posts

Quick Tip: Another Good Way is to comment on other peoples posts that have a lot of people commenting on… It sends a notification to everyone on that post that you left a comment!  This will help increase your friend requests too! This will make you stand out from the crowd & people will click your name and add you as a friend and or follow you! Once they are friends… Send them a welcome message pointing them to your fan page or facebook group on their wall! Something like: Hey (name), glad to be connected with you on Facebook… I am actually more active over on my Facebook Fan Page here: Would love to chat sometime… Make it a great day! (In Facebook I suggest spreading out your posts within groups… 5-10 at a time… No more then 40 per day to stay under the radar…) (Not sure linkedIn or Google + has a limit as of right now) …. There you have it!  Go take action!  Make some money!
