I wanted to talk about goals and why it is so important to be able to set goals that you can achieve.  If you set your goals so high that you can’t even relate to them then a lot of the time you will give up on your goals before you reach them.

Why is this? Its because life happens and you are going to go through struggles trying to reach those goals.

I made a quick video that talks about just this. The one thing you should take from this is to set goals that you can reach.

It is perfectly fine to dream big and have an overall goal but you have to learn to take it one step out at time.

For example:

You want to lose 100 lbs.

Now by itself this is a huge task and it can be very overwhelming. If you look at it head on you most likely are going to talk yourself out of it fast. You will say things like “I don’t have what it takes to do that.” ” I don’t have the time.” ” I don’t have the motivation.” “I don’t have the money to be healthy and it is too expensive.”

I am sure I could write a whole lot more but I will stop there because I am sure you understand where I am coming from and I am sure you yourself have even caught yourself saying those things.

I myself have some huge goals. No my goal is not really to lose weight but I have some very large goals I want to achieve. Some of my goals people would laugh at me because they are just so big and do not seem real to anyone but me.

What I know though is achieving goals is a process and you have to start somewhere. My suggestion is to start small. So if your goal is to lose 100 lbs then start small.  Set a goal of losing 5 lbs in 2 weeks. This might actually be to low of a goal but it is definitely achievable once you reach it you could make your next goal to lose 10 lbs. What you want to do is keep adding to your goals once you achieve them working towards your big goal.

Next make a plan for how you are going to go about reaching that first goal. What are the habits you are going to have to form to achieve this goal so you can move onto your next goal?  Some things you can do are set a time you are going to exercise. Next commit to doing an exercise program at least 3 times in the next week preferably though it should be at least 5. Next you will need to decide to start eating better food. You need to figure how much to eat as well and if there is anything in your house that is going to set you back you need to get rid of it.

This is just a summary of things you could do. I could lay this out in way more detail but I wanted to give an overview.  Habits are formed after doing them 21 days. So if you start practicing good habits they will become part of your routine and before you know it things in your life will start changing for the better.

It is not a mystery that I am a Beachbody Coach. I don’t try to hide it because I am proud of it. It allows me the opportunity to help people all over the United States and Canada to get their lives back not only physically but also financially. Not only have I been able to help others in these countries but now I am doing this the world over and that is something I could of never done without Beachbody.

Another thing that I am sure many people are not aware of is when you become a Beachbody Coach you get plugged into a network of people that are doing great things. Even if you are 100 lbs overweight you can still become a Beachbody Coach. I know many people do not realize this and think they have to be in top shape. This is so far from the truth and I can tell you for a fact if you were to become a Beachbody Coach and you took it seriously and you actually plugged into the network and did what was recommend that your goal of weight loss would be achieved. Not only that you will be able to have significance meaning you can help people along the way as you strive to reach your goal. It is amazing what happens when people come together and root for one another. When you are able to inspire others to do things they never thought they could accomplish.

I did not write this post to promote Beachbody so much. I wrote this because I know the importance of goals and goals and becoming a Beachbody Coach just go hand in hand.

I have been a Beachbody Coach now since April 2012 and in my short time I cannot even describe how much I have grown and how much I have learned. Even if I never made a dime I would still become a Beachbody Coach knowing what I know now.

You may think that is a crazy notion but let me explain. Maybe you are going through some pretty rough times right now. Maybe you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel and you have basically accepted that this is how life is always going to be.

I want you to know something and that is I have been there and I know how it feels.  I also know what it takes to step outside the box and to do something the majority of people look down on or are too afraid to do. I know what it feels like and I can tell you this. Before I got involved with Beachbody I was one of those guys that looked down on people that got involved in this kind of business. I did not respect what they did and I wanted nothing to do with it.

What I have learned though is the problem was me. It was not the company but it was me. My ego was so big that I thought what I was doing was more important. On top of that I had gone to school and got a degree in Kinesiology. I also had multiple advance certifications as a personal trainer and I had experience as a PE Teacher. You see I was coming from a place where I was like I actually am trained in fitness so why would I ever become a Beachbody Coach. Also I did not want to be one of those people that had to bother my friends or other people.

All I can say is I was very wrong to think this way. Instead of bugging people I now realize there is nothing else like this business. It is the only business that does not discriminate and you can be any education level to be in it.

What other business are you able to start for very little money and be able to make millions? Yes this is possible and in 2012 there were 21 Beachbody Coaches that made 7 figures.

So is becoming a Beachbody Coach a wise decision?

Well if you want to grow as an individual and help others do the same then yes it is a very wise decision. If you don’t want to grow and you want to continue to blame others for your problems then this will not be a good fit for you.

If you are open to learning and understand that you will be learning new skills and that it takes time but in the end it will benefit you big time then yes becoming a Beachbody Coach is a very wise decision to make.

Well as I said I did not plan to write about becoming a Beachbody Coach. I had to be honest though because setting goals and achieving goals just goes along with Beachbody. It is just what I do as a Beachbody Coach and with the support of the Beachbody Coach network those goals are very possible to obtain.
